Responsibilities
Responsible for providing proactive project management support to a facility move project. Responsible for the end-to-end management of the project including budget, action item, and schedule management associated with the move, and additional project management duties as assigned. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority of the facility's design and MEP (Mechanical, Engineering, and Plumbing) assessment.
Examples of duties but not limited to:
- Assist with the planning and tracking of the facility move project which involves the assessment and tracking of the client's budget and master schedule including tasks to ensure successful project deliverables, identifying and tracking of the critical path of the schedule, identifying and tracking project requirements, and identifying and tracking action items along with project risks.
- Review and provide updates to the facilities management project plan.
- Consolidate, de-conflict, and help with prioritization of existing and future requirements across the facility project tasks, and finalizing the necessary follow-up with the project partners and additional stakeholders as they are identified.
- Interface with stakeholders, both formally on behalf of the client and informally, to understand current and future requirements needs.
- Interface with the client to understand and identify briefing packages, budget exercises, and other project support needs, including identifying and executing any additional tactical or strategic needs of the client where applicable.
- Assist in managing the budget, both existing and future budget items, and funds from others that the client is executing on their behalf.
- Identify project risks and work with the client lead to mitigate and address these risks.
- Establish weekly one-on-one business rhythms with the client to ensure facilities project status and risks are proactively communicated.
- Assist with the review and updates of facility drawings to ensure design and MEP assessments meet the client needs.
Qualifications
Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. or additional years of experience in lieu of degree
Required Skills:
- 5 years of project management experience providing project management support to complex projects.
- Strong communication skills to include the ability to interface and coordinate with multiple stakeholders within and outside the client organization.
- Proactive multi-tasker with the ability to pay attention to details, including details associated with tactical and strategic needs of the client.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools - primarily Word, Scheduler, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with project management and execution of complex projects including facility move projects.
- Experience with providing support to different types and levels of stakeholders in order to address tactical and strategic project needs.
- Experience with facilities project management and facility moves including logistical and programmatic support associated with facility moves and budget management.
- Ability to understand complex facility requirements and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure that these requirements are executed.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in the client space.
- 10 years of experience with executing multiple projects simultaneously.
- PMP Certification or 10 years of commensurate project management experience.
- Experience with facility moves, MEP (Mechanical, Engineering, and Plumbing) assessments associated with facility design drawings, and working with stakeholders to provide feedback on these assessments.
- Experience with the delivery of qualified capabilities associated with facility moves.
- Demonstrated ability to create policies and procedures after data gathering and compiling requirements associated with a facility move.

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
