Join our team as a Global Transportation Coordinator, where you'll manage Cross-dock Operations, Shipping Processes, and Domestic and International Shipments, providing solutions to avoid delays. You'll ensure 3PLs and providers meet KPIs, establish SOPs for global shipping, support operational direction for 3PLs, manage transportation invoices, and identify cost-saving opportunities. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Work with Global 3PL Transportation Manager to ensure 3PL’s and Providers are meeting all KPI s and appropriate action plans.
- Establish and implement operational SOP’s for coordination of Global Shipping Processes and Procedures ensuring product flows smoothly through providers.
- Support operational direction to 3PL’s and providers, as required.
- Manage Transportation invoice processing for providers not managed by 3PL’s.
- Identify and implement cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of transportation experience in a high volume-manufacturing environment or 5+ years of transportation experience.
- Transportation or third-party logistics experience is preferred.
- Track record of identifying, creating and implementing initiatives
- International trade compliance experience preferred, not required
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong project management skills
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
This role is a hybrid position of 2 days in the office, typically are Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday.
