SUMMARY Responsible for running machinery or producing product at or above quoted cycle time/rate, inspecting product for any defects or nonconformities and reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Operate assigned machinery.

Clip, trim, visually inspect and package quality product as required in the job instruction sheet

Follow all Vaupell policies and procedures

Must follow all safety rules and procedures at all times

Accurate reporting of all scrap produced during the shift

Follow all Five “S” requirements.

Bolt, clip, screw, cements heat stake or otherwise fasten parts together.

Use CNC or Mill.
-
Makes sure area is clean and set-up properly.
Additional responsibilities for operators performing Medical Device assembly operations.
- Complete record keeping documents as required for Device History Record files.
- Must follow specific environmental and product procedures and/or protocol to ensure accurate and traceable documentation of products.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
