Production Manager
Juniper Industries, a leading manufacturer of pressure vessels and watertight/ballistic closures for ships, is seeking an experienced Production Manager for a challenging position supporting manufacturing of multicomponent mechanical assemblies. This role involves hands on involvement/overseeing of our expanding fabrication departments including CNC punching, plasma, brake work, welding- robotic and manual, and assembly departments to meet our growing demand!
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the plant while working with the Production Team to establish department goals and objectives. Direct engagement with other departments, engineering and management to fulfill record customer orders!
Job Duties:
· Responsible for the management, training, team building, and direct supervision of manufacturing departments
· Expansion of CNC production to meet tremendous growth and demand
· Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
· Attend weekly production meetings and convey issues
· Analyzing production data
· Writing production reports
· Ensuring production deadlines are met on time and on budget
· Identifying and correcting production problems
· Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free including PPE enforcement
· Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
· Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team
· Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
· Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff
· Communicating regularly with President regarding problems or issues impacting production
· Hands on knowledge of all machinery in respective division
· Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
Qualifications:
· Minimum Associates Degree – Bachelor of Science a Plus – years of experience considered
· 5 + years’ experience in industrial manufacturing administration
· Strong background in reading and breaking down blueprints / drawings
· Strong background in metal fabrication processes (welding, stamping, punching, bending, assembly)
· Excellent MS Office skills,
· Cad Required, Inventor also utilized
· Able to multi task as well as dig deep to find solutions
· Team builder with strong leadership to motivate and delegate
· Organizational and logistics skills
· Valid driver’s license
· US Citizen or Permanent resident

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
