American Transportation Services has an immediate opening for a PT Admin/ Shop Assistant. The Admin/Shop Assistant position will be Mon-Fri, 5hrs a day.
Pay: $18-23 Hourly.
If you are highly motivated and organized then this might just be the job for you. In this role you will be working in a mechanic shop environment. We are looking for a fast learner, reliable, and dependable. Candidate must have knowledge with the following: Microsoft systems, QuickBooks, emails, data entry, invoice handling, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Performs administrative duties which may include but are not limited to:
- photocopying
- faxing
- filing
- Answering phones
- Maintain filing and storage systems
- Communication in person and over the telephone with vendors.
- Performs other specific job-related duties as directed by Shop Manager.

- Candidate will work closely with manager for parts ordering/ tracking, lead times, back orders and submitting work orders. Other responsibilities include updating, tracking daily cover sheet, and tracking the technician hours. Must have great communication and organizational skills.
