We are a growing, national property management firm seeking an experienced full-time Community Manager for our 100-unit multi-family community in Opelika, AL. The ideal candidate should have proven multi-family, experience and can learn quickly. The candidate must be self-motivated, organized, resourceful, and can successfully lead a small team. Must be able to thrive in a one-person office.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the community
- Conducting all leasing activities, including showing units, follow-up with prospects, and marketing.
- Oversee collection activities to reach delinquency of 2-5%
- Reach and maintain a high occupancy rate in a constrained market
- Focus on retention activities including lease renewals and identifying community events to foster a feeling of community
- Oversee the turnover and renovation process
- Assisting with supply management
- Establishing and maintaining good rapport and communication with residents, vendors, staff, and other customers as needed
- Completing weekly and monthly reports as directed by the Regional Property Manager
- Follow all policies and procedures and follow all Fair Housing guidelines
The ideal candidate must be reliable and can successfully multi-task and operate in a fast-paced office. Ideally, the best community manager would have at least 2-5-years of management experience and can thrive in a one-person office.
