Job Description:
Local accounting firm seeks experienced Client Accounting Services Staff to handle and maintain all aspects of general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable for multiple clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Record transactions and activity into various accounting software for multiple clients.
· Ensure financial data is entered correctly, timely, and accurately.
· Enter journal entries when necessary.
· Process bill payments for multiple clients.
· Reconcile various accounts for multiple clients.
· Generate various accounting reports including balance sheet, profit and loss, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger.
· Utilize firm technologies to complete responsibilities efficiently.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
· Ability to use various software to record, store, and analyze financial data, such as QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent written and oral professional communication skills.
· Organized and attention to detail.
· Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher with accounting coursework preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience required; public accounting experience preferred.
· Minimum 1 year of QuickBooks Online experience required.
