The Office of Admissions is seeking a Campus Visit Coordinator to join the Georgia State University Welcome Center. The Campus Visit Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing campus visit programs for prospective students and their families and groups.
Responsibilities include comprehensively representing Georgia State University, planning and implementing the details of on-campus events, coordinating all aspects of high school group tours, and providing excellent customer service to visiting families, groups and University students and staff.
The Campus Visit Coordinator also assists in the daily supervision of student tour guides.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
Examples of duties include:
- Opening and closing of the office. Office hours are 8:30 am until 5:15 pm
- Present admissions information sessions to visitors
- Support prospective students through admissions process
- Manage and coordinate group tour visit requests
- Assist with the hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating of tour guides and student ambassadors
- Maintain, monitor and track all events and prospective information in Slate
- Keep lobby clean and organized with inventory of promotional items for prospective students and tour guides
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledge of GSU Admission procedures
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Event planning experience
- Proactive, independent, flexible, adaptable and can adjust to change quickly
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
- Ability to lift 35 pounds

Qualifications:
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Preference may be given to those who possess a bachelor’s degree and one-year experience in enrollment services.
Experience with CRM systems such as Slate. Experience presenting to large and small groups. Previous supervisory experience of student workers is highly desirable.
