Position Summary
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Supervisor shall complete tasks related to ACC’s safety, food safety, quality control, and environmental programs. She/he will be responsible for identifying quality-related problems throughout the production process. Assist in developing safety, environmental, quality, and food safety programs. Shall supervise and lead ACC’s training program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
· Ensure regulatory safety and environmental programs are compliant with all applicable requirements.
· Lead the safety committee, leadership initiative, safety all hands meetings and safety audits.
· Organize workflow and supervise the quality team to ensure quality-related programs are thoroughly followed.
· Develop, review, and update standard operating procedures related to safety, environmental, and quality assurance.
· Maintain and provide leadership for employees through effective communication, coaching, and training
· Support the Integrated Pest Management Program by coordinating inspections, reviewing results, trending data, and investigating non-conformances.
· Lead ACC’s training program and complete orientation training, and QA and food safety programs training.
· Manage QC equipment, and IPMP binders ensuring they are audit-ready.
· Perform internal quality audits in the facility and implement corrective actions based on results.
· Assist QA Director in preparing for 3rd party audits
· Monitor and support all food safety, personal safety, and quality programs.
· Support other departments’ managers in sanitation and pest control tasks.
· Help with any food safety issues, projects, or investigations as needed
· Trained and compliant with the organization’s Safety, Quality Control and Quality Assurance/Food Safety programs and procedures.
· Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
· Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
· 1-2 years of experience in related field
· Knowledge of manufacturing, Cal-OSHA, HACCP, GMP’s, and SSOP’s
· Flexible and able to complete multiple projects and tasks
