Affordable Housing Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager primarily operates and manages the receivables of the property accounting, maintains unit files, and assists in daily operations of the property. Delray is proud to participate in the PFC Moderate Income program offering 60% and 80% income restrictions on a portion of the units at the property. We also have a centralized back office assisting with leases, renewals and move-out reports. Some duties and qualifications for this position include:
Collection and electronic posting of all rent and daily deposits
Experience with Yardi and or CRM IQ is preferred
Close out accounts receivables at accounting month end
Read and speak English
Achieve under 2% delinquent each month
Leasing, Outstanding Customer Service
Marketing assistance including social media, review management, comp shopping
Assist the Property Manager in Operations and during periods of absence
Participate in management of the PFC affordable program

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Fair housing training; Previous leasing experience

Computer experience on with Microsoft 365, Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Yardi Property Management software (or equivalent industry related software);

Able to demonstrate leasing and marketing skills

Understanding of policies and procedures of low-income housing programs

Prefer at least two (2) years of recent low-income housing experience in position of an Assistant Manager at an Apartment community

Evidence of rental collection laws and procedures
