This position serves as an assistant case manager in a licensed fiduciary office. The licensed fiduciary is licensed through the Supreme Court of Arizona. Services are provided to clients requiring monitoring and oversight. This position requires the utmost integrity, use of good judgment, professionalism, and collaboration with other staff. Our “clients” are the Ward or protected persons we serve, outside vendors, such as nursing homes, caregivers, home health agencies, the courts, agents of the courts, and attorneys. As a small business, it is our job to cater to all of these other professionals, as well as our specific clients.
Description:
This position serves as an assistant position primarily to the Case Manager, secondly to all other staff. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling appointments for clients.
- Updating the calendar for appointments, staff and clients.
- Updating medical file folders – precision and accuracy required. Obtaining an updated photo of the protected person as needed.
- Following up on tasks that are brought up in staffing and ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner.
- Accompanying clients to appointments, preparing questions to ask care providers, obtaining follow up information from care providers and arranging for any immediate needs relating to the appointments (picking up a prescription, personal care products, transportation set-up, calling for durable medical equipment etc.)
- This position requires authorization and collaboration for all decisions, all steps must be documented.
- Assist in performing inventories of the protected person's belongings (houses, cars, cremains, small furniture, etc..), documenting and aiding in preparation of reports.
- Communicating with care providers, home health, agents of the courts, nursing care facilities, psychiatric facilities, and other staff.
- Requesting all medical records and scheduling any follow-up appointments in a timely manner
- Provide clerical support, including answering telephones, forwarding phones to person on-call, scanning / copying documents and correctly filing them as needed.
- Communicating with staff regarding your schedule, changes in schedules, and maintaining flexibility for daily activities.
- Reliable transportation in the event that the company vehicle is unavailable.
- Comfortability with an ever-changing schedule. Flexibility is imperative.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
