position: Teller
hours: full-time (monday – friday)
starting base pay range:
$19.50 to $21.00 per hour
Here’s what you would be doing as a UMe Teller:
- providing fantastic customer service (smiling and being friendly while performing banking transactions)
- assisting members with banking transactions (deposits, withdrawals, etc.), online banking, bill payment, mobile banking and UMe website navigation (you’ve got to be comfortable with technology)
- identifying members needs and suggesting products and services that would benefit them
- addressing customer questions/concerns and referring them to the appropriate person for resolution
- staying updated on new products and services
Here’s what our UMe Teller position requires from you:
- providing fantastic customer service (this is so important to us that we listed it twice on purpose)
- working knowledge of teller operations; one year of cash handling experience
- the ability to communicate professionally, friendly, and effectively, in person & in writing
- being computer and tech savvy
- multi-tasking, being organized and paying attention to details (you’ve got to be detail oriented)
- identifying financial products and services that will make people’s lives better (you’ve got to enjoy helping people)
- monitoring the teller line and ensuring all visitors are assisted (you’ve got to be observant)
- knowledge of banking regulatory/compliance and work experience in a financial institution
- supporting all marketing & business development campaigns & promotions
- living the UMe brand (we’ll tell you all about it)
