Summary Description
The Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for assisting in preventative maintenance and general repair of physical plant operating systems in completing maintenance requests.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist other maintenance technicians in physical plant operations.

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on physical plant operating systems and maintain accurate work records.

Complete maintenance requests to management in a timely manner.

Report low inventory supplies, materials, and equipment in a timely manner.

Perform work in any Jones Center building or property.

Maintain equipment in the Community Park and structures.
Require skills and Experiences

High School or equivalent. Vocational training in the area of carpentry, paint and mechanics preferred.

A minimum of 1 year of facility maintenance and repairs.

The Jones Center is a recreation, education, and event center for families in downtown Springdale, Arkansas
The Jones Center boasts a year-round ice arena, junior-Olympic lap pool, activity pool with a slide, world-class bike park, basketball court, fitness center, indoor track, conference center, and chapel/auditorium.
Our facility is home to regional youth sports such as the Aqua-Hawgs swim team and the NWA Hockey Association as well as individual sports and activities like gymnastics, ballet, Taekwondo, and figure skating at affordable pricing for families.
The Jones Center offers both memberships and scholarships, including free fitness classes such as Zumba, yoga, Silver Sneakers, synergy, and spin classes. Several other nonprofits organizations operate within our 220,000 sq. ft facility, including, Camp War Eagle and Hass Hall Academy.
