Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for counting, packaging, and transferring inventory within warehouses. This position will support production, schedule changes in inventory forecasts and customer needs. This position will also perform the tasks involved with packaging / shipping, picking, shipping, receiving, distributing and inventory control of materials and parts.

Identify, count, and accurately package parts in various sizes and quantities.

Label parts correctly and transfer inventory within warehouse locations.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Monitor and replenish packaging supplies as needed.

Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Perform basic math operations and retrieve electronic data.

Follow detailed directions for packaging requirements and ensure 100% accuracy.

Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Pick, pack, and ship customer orders promptly and accurately.

Use scales to calculate shipping costs and update invoices.

Assist with inventory counts and operate a forklift as required.

Flexibility to cross-train in other warehouse functions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

One year of factory related packaging experience

Ability to read and write English

Ability to follow verbal instructions and use simple math.

Use of basic computer skills.

Ability to use packaging tools if required
