A medical facility is seeking a skilled and licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Medical Doctor (MD) to join our team for remote telehealth visits. The ideal candidate will be adept at providing comprehensive healthcare services remotely. This position will be based out of our business office, conducting consultations and examinations via telecommunication tools.
Responsibilities:
Conduct remote telehealth visits with patients, including initial assessments, follow-up consultations, and medical evaluations.
Provide accurate diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and prescription management for patients.
Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, with proficiency in Clinical Works preferred.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in healthcare delivery, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
Stay updated on current medical guidelines, practices, and technologies to provide the highest quality of care.
Maintain Medicaid provider credentials and ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Medical Doctor (MD) license in New York.
Board certification in respective field preferred.
Experience in telehealth or remote healthcare delivery is desirable.
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably Clinical Works.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients remotely.
Proficiency in using telecommunication tools for remote consultations.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
Medicaid provider ID or ability to obtain one.
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
