Newrest ATL, a multinational leader in the in-flight catering industry, is looking for a Dock Lead. This individual is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the loading dock area. This includes coordinating the activities of dock personnel, ensuring that all shipments are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Dock Lead will work closely with the Dock Manager to ensure that all orders are processed promptly and accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the loading dock area's daily operations, including coordinating dock personnel's activities and ensuring that all shipments are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, and all safety procedures are followed.
- Train and develop dock personnel, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
- Communicate with carriers and other stakeholders regarding shipment schedules and special requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and any relevant industry regulations.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1 year of experience in a Lead role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is also required to frequently inspect the manufacturing floor and will be exposed to noise levels that may range from moderate to loud.
