We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Representative's primary goal is to provide the stockholder with superior customer service while addressing any and all needs pertaining to payment issues surrounding LMC invoices. The AR Representative will also be tasked with applying the stockholders' payments in an efficient and timely manner. This position requires work in our office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays, as well as the first Monday of each month.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate and build strong relationships with dealer account contacts to help identify, address and resolve reasons for overdue payment while providing exceptional customer service.
- Accurately and efficiently apply dealer payments to ensure dealer AR statements are correct and current.
- Interact with vendors and purchasing departments to provide timely resolution of past due invoices and reconciliation of unidentified payments/deductions.
- Keep continuous communications with AR Management regarding unusual large past due issues.
- Support departmental projects independently and as a team, with visibility for potential growth opportunities.
- Build internal and external relationships, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the organization.
- Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 4 of years related experience in an Accounting, Finance or similar business environment.
- High school graduate or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Experience with spreadsheet applications, accounting systems and previous exposure to customer service situations.
- Able to create spreadsheet applications with basic formulas.
- Excellent accounting and organizational skills.
- Outstanding customer service focus and skill set.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with internal and external contacts, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong math aptitude including ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and work accurately with numbers.
- Able to learn the automated systems used by LMC and customer/dealers.
- Possess a positive and open mindset.
- Able to organize, prioritize, and initiate work.
- Previous experience with Great Plains or QuickBooks preferred.
- Experience partnering and building relationships with internal and external business partners a plus.
