Position: Purchasing and Claims Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our flooring store as a Purchasing and Claims Specialist. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and representatives, managing all aspects of purchasing requests. Your responsibilities will include assisting in pricing updates within the store, maintaining accurate inventory records within the computer system, and ensuring the seamless placement, confirmation, and entry of all purchase orders in RFMS.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling weekly subcontractor installer bills, facilitating stock reorders on a regular basis, and taking ownership of the claims and claim process. Your collaborative nature will be crucial as you interact with the sales and warehouse staff to address all purchasing needs. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in customer service by meeting and greeting customers as needed, answering all incoming calls, and routing them appropriately. The successful candidate will be adaptable, resourceful, and capable of handling additional duties as assigned in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Point of contact for vendors and representatives for purchasing requests.
- Assist in pricing updates within the store.
- Maintenance of inventory items within computer system.
- Placing, confirming, and entering all orders in RFMS.
- Weekly subcontractor installer bills.
- Stock reorders on regular basis.
- Responsible for ownership of claims and claim process.
- Interact with sales staff and warehouse staff for all purchasing needs.
- Meet/Greet customers as needed.
- Answer all incoming calls and route as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- 3+ experience in the flooring industry
- Willingness to work with teammembers

- Well-organized
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Associates in Business or Accounting preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs and a willingness to learn our operating systems
Salary:
Base compensation + commission = Target total compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 / HR
