Curant Health is searching for a Human Resources Generalist to join its team in St. Petersburg, FL. The HR Generalist is responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to: new hire orientation, exit interviews, assist in investigations and employee relation matters, benefit administration, compliance, and HR policy and adherence and development, employee communications, HR Engagement initiatives point of contact, manage and follow up on all leave of absence processes, payroll, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Business Partners to forecast and determine staffing needs.
- Handle recruitment for all sites within the organization (exempt and no-exempt) roles and assist Management with other open internal requisitions.
- Post positions accurately and within the specified timeframe(s) with proper approval to external resources such as job boards, social networking sites, etc.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms and professional networks).
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings (background, drug, behavioral assessments, etc.)
- Maintain, coordinate and update all aspects of the pre-boarding and on-boarding processes.
- Assist with the administration, optimization, and use of the Applicant Tracking System via UKG.
- Assist with organizing and attending job fairs, recruitment, and networking events.
- Responsible for data integrity within the ATS and other sourcing systems.
- Oversee, coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and paperwork. Schedule Meet & Greet with leadership consistently.
- Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Provide answers to questions related to HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations. Escalate issues or concerns to Director of HR when applicable.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquires and concerns.
- Address employee issues and disputes, maintaining a fair and respectful workplace.
- Conduct investigations when necessary and provide guidance on conflict resolution.
- Facilitate employee and management trainings, conduct regularly scheduled policies and procedure refreshers with leadership.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management, identifying trends (salary benchmarking, recruitment and turnover trends, etc) and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with employees to build a rapport and improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Assist in the maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Ensure policies are communicated effectively and consistently enforced.
- Assist in conducting Employee engagement survey and pulse survey as necessary. Provide feedback of results and countermeasures.
- Plan and organize employee engagement events and initiatives on a consistent basis
- Update Affirmative Action Plans and coordinate initiatives
- Manage unemployment claims.
- Conduct Employee focused roundtables, as applicable
- Manage Engagement Survey and Pulse Survey annually and assist in establishing countermeasures.
- Any other duties as assigned within the HR department and functionalities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in human resources management, business administration, sociology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience required (including 3 years in Talent Acquisition or related).
- Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- UKG/Kronos preferred experience
