Alaant Workforce Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant for our client in Albany, NY. In this role you will play a pivotal role in administering benefits and supporting HR functions!
Hours and Benefits for the HR Assistant (Temporary):
- Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
- Temporary assignment
- $23.00 an hour
- Benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision and 401(K) after 60 days of employment
Responsibilities for the HR Assistant (Temporary):
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, 403(b), and more.
- Conduct benefits presentations for new hires and distribute enrollment materials.
- Assist employees with benefits inquires, plan changes, and eligibility.
- Maintain and update the HRIS self-service portal.
- Process leave of absence requests, disability paperwork, and ensure compliance with COBRA and ACA requirements
- Facilitate open enrollment, wellness events, and employment recognition programs.
Requirements for the HR Assistant (Temporary):
- Associates degree in Human Resources or related
- 2+ years of experience as a HR Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel
