Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Accountant / Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles and office management procedures. This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the office environment. The Accountant / Office Administrator will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing administrative support to various departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, order entries, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management review, including budget variance analysis and forecasting.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax filings.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing product inventory, inventory management / supply chain, purchasing, order entry, supplies, etc
- Maintain filing systems and organize company documents, both electronic and physical.
- Assist in HR-related tasks, such as employee onboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
COMPLIANCE AND REGULATION
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- · Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
COMMUNICATION AND COLABORATION
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including management, staff, and external vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company goals and initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for financial and administrative inquiries and provide guidance to colleagues as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in accounting and office administration roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledgeable in International Business Relation especially India
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent certification.
- Experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced financial analysis tools.
- Experience managing and leading small teams.
