Position: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
Location: Pasadena, Texas
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks to minimize interruptions to production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and monitor Maintenance crews to support plant production and financial goals, while fostering communication within the plant.
- Manage Maintenance documentation, resources, spare parts inventory, and procurement, focusing on PSM and Quality mandates.
- Improve Preventive Maintenance processes for enhanced plant reliability and coordinate maintenance work between departments.
- Manage the CMMS, optimizing its performance, ensuring consistent adherence to procedures, and monitoring and adjusting for best practices.
- Utilize reporting tools to optimize CMMS functionality and conduct root cause investigations for maintenance issues.
- Plan and schedule work orders to prevent production losses, including materials and project planning, and assist with capital project execution.
- Coordinate maintenance work between departments, manage department resources, and coordinate contracted support.
- Implement standard operating procedures and organize maintenance processes, prioritizing safety and quality.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED. Advanced degree/certification(s) technical and/or maintenance related discipline preferred.
- At least five (5) years of industrial experience in a chemical plant or other related industry experience.
- At least three (3) years maintenance and supervisory experience.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years maintenance planner/scheduler experience.
- Working knowledge of plant equipment (control systems, pumps, piping, heat exchangers, vessels, instrumentation, etc.)
- Background in maintenance and repair of equipment in order to effectively plan daily maintenance department activities.
- Experience working and managing in a PSM site. PHA and MOC experience strongly preferred.
- Must have strong and experienced project management skills.
- Minimum three (3) years MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operating materials) Inventory Management Experience.

Plant capacity: 10,000 cubic meters.
$2.5M annual maintenance budget.
$1.5M to $3M capital expenditure budget.
