ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet contractual obligations.
Direct the daily activities and events of the Older Adult Club.
Evaluates Older Adult Club services and programs and recommend improvements.
Responsible for following DFTA Simple Serve Menu.
Must ensure the cleanliness of the facility follows DFTA & FGC standards.
Prepares periodic statistical reports about OAC activities and programs for management review.
Immediately respond to reports of accidents, incidents, or safety concerns.
Plan and/or lead recreational and educational activities, trips, and other events.
Prepare the monthly calendar of events and menu both (Print and digital) and promotional materials to market and publicize Oder Adult Club activities.
Establish and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, with individuals and advocacy groups, private sector foundations, associations, corporations, and others promote the FGC mission and activities. Develop and execute a clear community outreach plan. Provide a monthly outreach report.
Register and report new clients and program activities using STARS Database.
Accurately prepare monthly invoices, bills, etc., and submit in a timely manner. Maintain accurate fiscal and programmatic recordkeeping and reporting.
Establish and maintain safety, emergency, and sanitary procedures.
Must attend training and obtain a Food Handlers Certificate, CPR and AED First Aid certifications.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment.
Must be a Team Player.
Must be able to work weeknights and some weekends.
Must participate in all ZOOM/Virtual related activities and programs.
Requirements:
Master?s degree with at least three years? experience in Social Work, Gerontology or Human Services; Bachelor?s degree with five years? experience in Social Work, Gerontology or Human services, and one-year supervisory experience ? preferably with seniors; OR Associate Degree in human services, and seven years? experience in senior/human services, and two years supervisory experience ? preferably with Older Adults. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary $67,000 annually
