Front Desk Receptionist with experience in Ophthalmology (Eye Doctor) setting preferred.
- Greet patients and visitors.
- Check in and check out. Collect copay, coinsurance and deductibles.
- Data entry, all patient demographics and insurance information. Update and maintain all patient information.
- Insurance verification, authorizations and referrals.
- Scanning insurance and ID cards and attach these to patient record.
- Schedule patients in person or via telephone. Answer calls.
- Answer patients questions and be very motivated to help patients.
- Communicate efficiently to coworkers and provider any delays and concerns.
- Keep track of product inventory level to anticipate the need for supplies
- Protect patient information and patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Be a team player and multi task.
- Be able to learn other office tasks in order to help all staff members when needed.
- Be responsible and respectful of coworkers and patients at all times.
- Good customer service at all times.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
