Job Overview
This position is responsible effectively managing our facilities so our staff can take care of our customers’ needs and our shops can ensure trucks and trailers are serviced and repaired in a timely manner. Effective management of the terminal and corporate facilities will enable quality, safe equipment with which our driver team members can deliver freight on time for our customers.

Effectively select, train and develop, and retain team members to properly maintain all terminal facilities.

Management of cost related to maintenance of terminal facilities that meet or exceed budgetary guidelines.

Responsible to design jobs, set priorities, plan work, set performance standards and monitor results.

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)

2 year degree in associated trades or 5 years facility management experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of proper craftsmanship techniques, tools, and required safety standards.

Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, tools, and required safety standards.

Knowledge of proper repair methods, tools, and required safety standards.

Effective team-building.

Effective communication laterally, upward, and downward (often through multiple organizational layers).
