Overview:
As an F&B Manager, you will be a part of a high performing team that possess a passion for world class hospitality. This position is responsible for managing Front of House Staff and dining room operations for several food and beverage outlets including two dining rooms across two clubhouses and On Course Food & Beverage.
This position will be expected to deliver 5-star service and be accountable for driving strong team performance when it comes to exceeding the member and guest expectations. You will be required to display a polished, professional, and high-touch dining room presence; routinely conducting table visits and building strong rapport with members through personal interactions. Additionally, the F&B Manager will maintain highly engaged relationships with the Front of House Staff by providing daily feedback, guidance, and training on both individual and overall team performances. This individual will be required to maintain consistent and comprehensive communications regarding the member/guest experience, daily operations, and staff performance both within the leadership of the F&B Department (Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef) as well as with the other operational departments at Scottsdale National and the Executive Leadership team.
As a Sommelier, this individual will be responsible for restocking wines daily, weekly monitoring of inventory, monthly inventory in Beveger, Mustang Grill wine service, server education, and pricing wines accordingly to market trending prices. Adapting the wine list and curating new wines to continue to build the list around our current membership preferences.
Additional responsibilities shall include purchasing, pricing, inventory, storage, cost control, and a working knowledge of the JONAS Point of Sale system as well as assist with establishing and achieving financial projections and goals related to sales, costs, and labor. The F&B Manager will work closely with the Executive Chef and Culinary team as a whole on menu development as well as event planning and execution. Lastly, this person will be responsible for ensuring that all safety, sanitation, and other operational standards are consistently met.

A note on the start date: While we are actively interviewing candidates, the start date for this position is planned for August, and at the beginning of the 2024 – 2025 season.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
