JOB TITLE: Assistant Community Manager

Primary Responsibilities:
The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for the accurate bookkeeping of the property records and keeping the Property Administrator informed of all daily activities of office and maintenance staff. The Assistant Community Manager is expected to run the property proficiently in the absence of the Property Administrator.
- Telephone techniques-answer with your name and property name.
- Qualify prospects.
- Follow up on all traffic with phone calls and thank you card.
- Complete lease files according to company policy and procedures.
- Process rental applications.
- Accept rental payments, post, and deposit monies daily.
- Handle all aspects of delinquencies and collections on all resident accounts.
- Assist Community Manager in the completion of all reports.
- Know the Fair Housing Laws.
- Know the TAA Redbook Laws.
- Assist manager in scheduling all make-readies.
- Ensure that all service requests are posted and follow up.
- Notify manager of any potential liabilities.
- Assist manager with all preparations.
- Assist manager with resident requests.
- As an assistant community manager, you will be asked to represent the manager in his/her absence with decision making capabilities.
