Salary: $80k - $90k + 12% BONUS
JOB SUMMARY
- Technical Services Manager provides and coordinates technical on-site support to Production, WWT, Utilities teams and Contractors
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, schedules and manages all work related to building construction and major renovations.
- Provides technical oversight while managing subcontractors and directs assigned Johanna employees on the site to ensure work is safely performed and quality standards are met.
- Enforces safety policies.
- Prepares project schedules and tracks performance against the schedule. Providing periodic reporting (daily and weekly) updates.
- Inspects work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications and that construction schedules are adhered to.
- Prepares daily progress reports, purchase orders for materials, time records, and other departmental related paperwork.
- Facilitates or participates in meetings with subcontractors, architects and Johanna Management as required.
- Participates with Technical Services group monthly management review.
- Other duties assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent organization, planning, scheduling, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient at building maintenance & construction and documentation of the same.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of the construction industry, specifically commercial and industrial general contracting, and construction means and methods.
- Ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and discretion in business dealings and with staff.
- Strong leadership skills while maintaining a good attendance record and the commitment to work extra time as required.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Hands on attention to detail.
- ABS in Engineering or Construction Management is a plus, along with at least twelve to fifteen years of building maintenance and project management experience on commercial and industrial projects and sites
PERIPHERAL SKILLS
- Ability to use applicable software is required; Auto CAD, PDF and Revit.
- Demonstrated competence in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.
