ArtsBridge Foundation, the education outreach arm of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is charged with securing financial resources for ArtsBridge, the Foundation's education and community engagement programs. ArtsBridge provides quality arts education and community engagement programming, designed to inspire creativity and foster the next generation of artists and arts supporters.
Since its inception in 2007, ArtsBridge has served over 300,000 students and educators from 57 Georgia counties, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and South Carolina. ArtsBridge programs include Field Trips to the Cobb Energy Centre for performances by leading local and national arts organizations, The Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards – Shuler Hensley Awards, Master Classes, Educational Arts Experiences, Artists-In-Schools and more.
We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all ArtsBridge programs and coordinating program logistics. This sales-motivated and detail-oriented position assists with scheduling, ticketing and coordination of educational activities, including coordinating adjudicators, directors and performers for the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards as well as curating content for all social media channels for ArtsBridge Foundation. The successful candidate will have knowledge of theater production and the arts. This position reports to the Director of Arts Education.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a development, program or customer relations position.
- Arts education and/or arts background preferred.
- Experience with posting, monitoring, and evaluating various social media channels (SnapChat, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
- Minimum high school education. College, vocational or business school preferred.
- Ability to follow directions with minimum supervision.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects/ communications while dealing with heavy phone and email volume.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and willingness to show initiative in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Hard-working, self-starter with a pleasant phone manner and positive attitude.
- Typing/keyboard skill of 60-wpm minimum.
