Job Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant for our General Buyer and COO to join our team. This role will primarily support COO in buying operations and assist in managing the flow of general processes. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic team environment and contribute to the strategic goals of our organization.
· Assist General Buyer/COO in external communications supporting the procurement process by coordinating with suppliers, vendors, designers, and manufacturers, through direct communication via phone or email in English and Russian languages.
· Maintain accurate records of transactions and contracts and manage the activity calendar for General Buyer/COO.
· Organize follow-up on the Assortment Committee meetings, collect data from all participants, lead the Stage-Gate process for a new assortment
· Assist General Buyer/COO in coordination with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth execution of buying strategies.
· Assist the General Buyer/COO in conducting market research, analyzing trends, and identifying new product opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
· Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG companies
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
· Must be BiLingual to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) processes.
· Familiarity with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) methodologies.
· Knowledge of Stage-Gate PPM processes would be advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
