As the Peer Recovery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the client while in IOP and/or housing. Ensuring the smooth operation of the recovery homes by providing peer support, structure and accountability, maintaining records and resources to aid in successful outcomes. You will complete screenings and admissions, county required paperwork, adhere to required deadlines and collaborate with treatment staff as well as housing managers. Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and understand workflow. This is a high demand position, with 100% accuracy, attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, identify a solution when issues arise and have strong analytical skills. Great customer service is key. May be required to travel and work between sites as needed.
PRS Responsibilities:
- To provide peer support, structure and compassion to clients of Kai Shin Clinic and Mend Recovery Residences.
- Maintain records and resources for aid in successful outcomes.
- Role model recovery behaviors in all work settings and one on one meetings.
- Provide leadership in practice, knowledge, and respect.
- Be active and present for peer support in all treatment settings. (current: IOP & Sober Living.
- Provide a clear vision for the recovery path of each peer and help navigate the regulation needs and logistical help in order to accomplish a healthy outcome.
- Remain knowledgeable about company initiatives, communication and provide feedback helpful to the company's mission.
- Be adaptive to change and support the initiatives.
- Promote MAT to peers and professionals and remain knowledgeable about new recovery innovations and collaboration.

- Maintain a consistent relationship with each peer, providing them a safe space, free of judgment, to be honest about their recovery wins and struggles.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare clinic is preferred.
- Ability to travel between clinic locations; valid driver’s license, auto insurance.
- Pass MN DHS background study.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Google Docs/Sheets.
- Extremely detailed oriented
- MInimum 5 years experience in an office Coordinator position
