Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will be responsible for managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and talent management. The HR Manager will ensure the HR department supports the company’s goals and contributes to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a consultant to management on human resources issues.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Monitor grievances through the implementation of grievance policies and procedures.
Performance Management:
- Implement and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
Training and Development:
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assess training needs and implement training programs to ensure continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee and manage compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure competitive compensation structures and benefit programs.
- Manage all payroll operations and procedures.
HR Compliance:
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions.
HR Data and Reporting:
- Maintain and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports for management to track strategic goals.
Culture and Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Foster a positive working environment and culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related filed.
- At least 2 years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Previous experience in a similar industry or company size.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with standard working hours.
- Occasional travel may be required for recruitment events, training, or other HR-related activities.
