Growing, multi-state based company has an opening for a full-time Controller. This position is responsible for actively managing all aspects of accounting to include general ledger for assigned entities, monthly journal entries, income and expense accruals, understanding of AR, AP, cash receipts, bank reconciliations, preparation of financial reports; monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, assist with tax reporting, budget, and audit. The Controller will work very closely with the Accounting staff to ensure that policies and procedures are implemented and followed and reporting requirements are performed timely and with quality. Successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters and/or CPA preferred, and a minimum of 5-6 years of related Accounting experience, experience with REIT, private equity, ASC842, lease accounting, excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated team management and interpersonal skills. MAS100 experience preferred and Microsoft Office experience with extensive knowledge in Excel a must.
