Job Title: Production Supervisor

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, particularly in a warehouse production environment. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety at all times. Additionally, the Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in meeting customer targets and delivering products that meet or exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Manufacturing Operations: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, including material handling, processing, and packaging, to ensure efficiency and adherence to production schedules.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all RPET resin meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety inspections and provide training as needed.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements. Implement changes to enhance productivity while maintaining product quality.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing personnel, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure adequate supply and timely production.
Customer Focus: Ensure that production schedules align with customer demands and delivery deadlines.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, time sheets and inventory levels. Generate regular reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the production of plastic processing.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
