We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our retail store. ```Responsibilities```
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members
- Ensure excellent customer service by resolving customer complaints and addressing any issues that may arise
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Store Manager to ensure proper stock levels
- Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining store appearance
- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop sales strategies and meet sales targets
- Assisting customers whenever necessary
- Ensuring that health, safety, and security rules re followed.
- Taking disciplinary action when necessary.
- Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service
- Motivating employees and ensuring a focus on our mission statement.
- Maintaining the restaurant to standards, including stocking and cleaning.
- Completing tasks assigned by the general manager accurately and efficiently.
- Supporting store manager as needed.
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in retail management is required
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
- Experience with cash register operations and basic math skills
- Proven ability to negotiate and resolve customer complaints
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school or equivalent education level.
- Stable work history.
- Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development
- Be dedicated to customer satisfaction and a great customer service experience.
- Experience as an assistant restaurant manager preferred.
