About the Opportunity
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for ensuring that SFA is getting the maximum business value from our IT ecosystem, resulting in efficient and effective business operations. We are seeking someone with a strong background in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes and technology, enabling them to collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient D365 BC configurations and customizations.
Responsibilities for Business Systems Analyst
Dynamics 365 Implementation and Maintenance:
· Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions, focusing on modules such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Sales.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, conduct gap analysis, and define functional specifications for D365 BC configurations and customizations.
· Configure D365 BC modules, workflows, and reports to align with business processes and optimize system functionality.
· EDI troubleshooting and Support (850, 810, 846, 856, 997)
Business Process Optimization:
· Evaluate existing business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation through D365 BC capabilities.
· Work closely with business users to understand their needs, streamline processes, and enhance productivity using D365 BC features and integrations.
Data Migration and Integration:
· Manage data migration activities, including data cleansing, transformation, and migration into Dynamics 365 Business Central from legacy systems or external sources.
· Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement data integration solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity between D365 BC and other business applications.
· Develop and deliver user training sessions and documentation to ensure effective adoption of D365 BC solutions and maximize user proficiency.
· Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating system enhancements as needed.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
· Develop test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate D365 BC configurations, customizations, and integrations, ensuring system reliability and data integrity.
· Conduct testing activities, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), and collaborate with stakeholders to address identified issues and ensure successful deployment.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
· Stay updated on the latest trends, features, and best practices in Dynamics 365 Business Central and related technologies, recommending enhancements and process improvements to maximize system effectiveness.
· Champion the adoption of industry standards, methodologies, and frameworks for business analysis and solution delivery within the organization.
Qualifications for Business Systems Analyst
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
· Proven experience (3+ years) as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
· In-depth knowledge of D365 BC functionalities, configuration options, and customization capabilities, with a strong understanding of finance and supply chain processes.
· Experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
· Proficiency in data migration tools and techniques, as well as experience in integrating D365 BC with third-party applications using APIs, web services, or middleware solutions.
· Experience with EDI (850, 810, 846, 856, 997)
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and facilitate productive discussions to drive consensus and decision-making.
Salary
$90K - $100K
