Position overview:
Position reports to the Warehouse General/Operations Manager.
Operate MHE in consistent, safe, and reliable manner. Prompt work attendance with minimal unplanned absences. Deliver satisfactory service to customer and achieve required performance goals, maintain daily KPI’s.
Develop and maintain Quality Management System, supervise quality control and customer service teams.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Run Daily Inbound/Outbound/Shave Reconciliation Reports
o Report results of findings to site leaders to facilitate coaching and accountability.
- Ensure daily cycle counts.
o Report results to the Leadership and Operations teams.
- Provide CSR coverage when needed.
- Daily Quality Walks
o Check warehouse for leaning pallets, damages, leakers, orphans and ghost pallets.
o Report results to Leadership and Operations team for follow-up.
- Performs physical counts of inventory items in order to maintain an accurate inventory
- Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily
- Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
- Supervise the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Place inventory on hold and enter order needed for credit returns.
- Tracks, monitors and reports damage product to customer upon receipt and in-house.
- Train and assist operations to process returns with accuracy
- Provide timely and accurate communication to site management
- Provide timely and accurate communication to site customer service personnel
- Ensures Quality standards are being achieved
- Oversee QC / Inventory Control Coordinators
- Power User for the Labor Management System
- Employee may perform other related projects and duties as assigned
Required skills:
Education
Experience
- One to two years of relevant experience
Knowledge and Skills
- Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word and Excel)
- Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
- Must satisfy pre-employment requirements, including background check and drug screen.
- Strong WMS experience required. SAP experience preferred.
Environment and physical requirements
- Strong Verbal Communication skills required.
- Must be able to sit a minimum of eight (8) hours per day and must be able to stand/climb stairs as required
- Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, crouch, and reach above shoulder level on regular basis
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds on regular basis
- Position may be exposed to shipping and receiving docks, material handling equipment, and warehouse personnel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
