REGISTERED BEHAVIORAL TECHNICIAN (RBT) Responsibilities:
- Provides home & community based individual/collateral therapy sessions, caregiver coaching, and family training sessions.
- Compliance with all documentation requirements for billing, session notes, quarterly progress reports, service changes, and quality assurance procedures.
- Must be comfortable using iPads and/or computers to use various web-based software systems for carrying out intervention programs, recording data, and adhering to company standards for scheduling and time submission
- Flexibility to adjust your schedule to meet training requirements. This is a part-time position initially, with potential of growth into full-time hours, depending on availability, need, and performance.
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes, multiple work sites.
- Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
- Perform services in diverse settings such as patient homes & in-school
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations)
- EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN WITH AUTISM IS REQUIRED
Required Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Computer proficient with daily use of email and billing platform required
Additional Requirements for all providers:
- Bilingual skills are a plus: Parents have requested a Creole speaking Tech.
1-year experience working directly with people having autism and/or other developmental disabilities. Comprehensive training is provided to all new hires, regardless of experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
