Our Growth Team in Massachusetts is seeking a Community Outreach Associate to facilitate services on/off-site with our clients, community partners, and healthcare providers. The Role:
In this role, you will interact with BLP members, counselors, medical providers, and community members of the local recovery community. You will play a vital role in expanding the organization's network and raising awareness about its programs and services. The Community Outreach Associate collaborates with various teams to develop and implement effective outreach initiatives and represents the organization at meetings and events. This role requires strong communication skills along with a passion for building connections with diverse audiences while maintaining our organization's mission and values.
What you will do:
- Demonstrate and communicate the core values of Better Life Partners while upholding the organization's mission.
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including community organizations, businesses, government agencies, and healthcare providers to expand our network and enhance referral pathways.
- Collaborates with various teams to develop and implement effective outreach initiatives and strategies to increase membership
- Act as the primary point of contact for external partners and stakeholders responding to inquiries and providing necessary information or support.
- Collaborate with potential partners to identify opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, and joint initiatives.
- Represents the organization at meetings, events, and partner sites arriving early to set up for meetings and events to raise awareness of our services.
- Facilitating group therapy meetings
- Teaming closely with the Member Services staff on questions or new information
- Providing community outreach and information and conducting presentations with confidence
- Participating in the recruitment and training of other field staff associates
- Assisting and maintaining documentation of meetings, events, and functions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of efforts in Salesforce daily
- Active participation in team, calls and meetings and offering potential solutions to obstacles incurred
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and source prospective organizations
- Regular travel within the state of Massachusetts
You are a good fit if you have:
- A passion to work in a healthcare field
- 1+ year(s) experience in MAT/MOUD program, preferred
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor required
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Flexible schedule required - ability to travel for outreach events and meetings to include night and weekend availability
- Exceptionally strong work ethic, one who takes initiative
- Self-motivated to help as many people as possible
- Team player with an “all hands on deck” positive attitude, organized/able to multitask
- Reliable internet and strong computer skills
- Valid driver's license, access to your own means of reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Perform additional duties as requested
- This is a hybrid position. Services are provided both in-person and remotely (~2 days remote a week).
Hybrid position requirements:
- Must be in commutable distance to Springfield, Brockton, or Taunton Massachusetts.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to travel locally within the communities we serve.
- Must have internet service with minimum upload/download ability.
- Company will provide equipment (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse and headset) plus a remote work stipend.
- Must understand the importance of protected health information and ensure any data/information is not visible to others.
- Must have a quiet space to speak to members with minimal background noise.
This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. The starting range for this position is $24.44 - $32.49 per hour + equity + benefits. The final compensation package is influenced by various factors such as experience, education, degrees earned, market data, and business requirements.
