A Senior Analyst is required to support the Headquarters Department of the Army, G-8, Force Development Joint Requirements and Assessments. The Senior Analyst will provide analysis, reviews, and recommendations in support of the validation and approval of future materiel requirements to include validation of Army Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents by the Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shall support FDM's readiness analysis mission to conduct in-depth analysis of Army and unit equipping readiness, identifying equipment readiness issues proposing solution sets.
- Shall identify the root causes of Army Equipment On Hand (EOH) un-readiness and systemic reported equipment shortages as recorded by the Army Readiness Management System (ARMS). The contractor shall perform data trend analysis that includes coordination and staffing with ACOMs, G-4 and AMC. The staffed Trends Analysis chart will be provided monthly to the Branch Chief.
- Shall participate in efforts to increase S-Level Unit Readiness including coordinating with ACOM and ASCCs, identifying Army excess equipment.
- Shall coordinate solutions to resolve excess imbalance.
- Shall support the effort for conducting the monthly SRU briefing to the DCS FD.
- Shall coordinate the development and assembling of the SRU briefing books and provide support in the execution of the VTC.
- Shall review assigned policies and regulations for DCS G-8 equipping equities recommending edits for government approval.
- Shall possess the staff skills required to conduct the necessary reviews and analysis and prepare senior leaders for issues under discussion in support of the Army Requirements Review Board (AR2B).
EDUCATION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Management, Economics, Math, Science, Engineering, History or English. A Master's degree in one of these areas will be accepted if Bachelor's degree does not meet the criteria. Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties. Experience may be obtained at varying levels of Army organizations but candidates must have experience at most senior levels of the Army such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands. Must have experience with JCIDS and Army Requirements process.
