We are currently looking to hire an Intelligence Analyst to join our team (embedded with our client in Arlington, VA)! This position requires working on-site from our client's headquarters in Crystal City.
- This position requires rotating 24/7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This team works a Panama schedule of 4 days on, 3 days off, and then works 3 days on, 4 days off. Rotating days and nights quarterly with the ability to trade shifts with other team members. This position allows for great overtime opportunities on a 40-hour work week. This position can earn around $79,160/yr with available overtime work opportunities.
- Hourly Base Pay Rate for this position is $34.50
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position requires the Intelligence Analyst to use business intelligence sources, internal and external assets, and open-source media to identify threats to a large, international company. The Analyst will identify and monitor viable hazards to employees, operations, global assets, and the brand, reporting these threats to the department's Manager 24/7.
Intelligence Analysts will use a set of emergency response procedures to manage critical incidents, provide clear assessment and reporting of the situation, and determine appropriate actions to resolve the incident. The threats and critical incidents that the Intelligence Analyst needs to track, disseminate, and manage include political instability, violence, travel alerts, health concerns, man-made or natural disasters, internal threats, or technical failures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Threat Detection and Analysis
- Conduct continuous review, assessment, and collection of open-source information utilizing multiple systems and sources to detect potential threats.
- Utilize critical thinking abilities independently to produce and disseminate intelligence products derived from open-source collection efforts to the appropriate audience.
- Crisis Management
- Manage, coordinate, and disseminate crisis management information and directives during declared emergencies and/or preventative actions mitigating potential emergencies.
- Act as the focal point for all threat-related information using all appropriate and available communications and systems.
- Travel Safety
- Actively monitor travel safety and security of employees on a global scale.
- Actively monitor executive travel and threats to their safety.
- Support and collaboration
- Work closely with department strategic Intelligence analysts by performing initial and routine collection supporting research and production.
- Liaise closely with key partners to ensure the purpose and scope of responsibilities in threat alerting.
- Intelligence Reporting
- Provide timely and concise intelligence reports to stakeholders
- Engage in deep-dive analysis and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree (security-related preferred) or equivalent Military/Law Enforcement experience.
- Experience with open-source intelligence gathering and analysis tradecraft
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with highly confidential information
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work rotating 24/7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years in analytical, investigative, law enforcement, and/or executive protection disciplines
- Proficient in multiple languages
- Post Graduate Degree in a related field.
