Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union is hiring for the Commercial Loan Assistant in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Assure the advancement of the Credit Union’s mission of providing our members and communities with the opportunity to prosper as a member of the Business Services Team which directly provides capital to businesses who provide services to, and employ, the members of our communities. The Commercial Loan Assistant leverages their organizational and decision-making skills to prioritize and complete tasks on numerous business loans simultaneously to ensure the development, maintenance and deepening relationships with our business members.

Essential Job Functions

Manage the collection, organization, and retention of lending related documents

Verify and/or order and obtain all documentation needed for a commercial loan to be underwritten, which can include individual credit reports, UCC searches, and Business Registry Search
- Requests listing aids and preliminary title reports from the title company
- Assembles and maintains loan files and related documentation

Ensures the perfection of collateral for commercial loans

Completes and assists level 1 with the input of new loans and modifications into core system
- Performs all forms of monetary transactions for the Business Services Department

Opens business membership accounts for new loans

Leads in responding to incoming communications across a variety of channels

Invests time and effort into personal development; learning and maintaining a current working knowledge that the team can depend on and furthers the efforts of the team to ensure a Crest experience for members, and the fulfillment of Pacific Crest’s mission.

High School diploma or the equivalent
-
Experience in a financial institution or credit program

Experience or training in commercial lending or the equivalent
