Senior Government Procurement Specialist
Constellation seeks a Senior Government Procurement Specialist to join our Business and Acquisition Strategy Division in Washington, DC, who has demonstrated strong managerial experience organizing, planning, directing, and managing contractor staff. The Procurement Specialist will assist in providing leadership, guidance, and program management vision and consult with senior leadership as needed. The Procurement Specialist, working independently or as part of a contractor team, will evaluate and solve the agency’s business challenges, specifically in procurement support to the Department of Homeland Security’s law enforcement mission.
The Senior Government Procurement Specialist will:
· Assist project manager by performing market research of new program concepts.
· Prepare high level briefs, white papers, and memos.
· Develop and manage project plans, task trackers and schedules that comply with the
program’s Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
· Assist project manager in the development of RFPs and assessment of proposals.
· Serve as technical advisor on the adequacy of execution of contractual requirements.
· Apply oral and written communication expertise to develop project deliverables, including analysis plans, written reports, briefing slides, and discussions with clients and stakeholders.
· Support studies and meetings; document and compile notes; analyze data; develop guides, standard operating procedures, trackers, and publications.
The ideal candidate must have the following experience, background, and credentials:
· Minimum of seven years’ experience as a government procurement professional.
· Minimum of seven years’ experience as a government consultant or support contractor.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, or another relevant field.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and for our client understanding their needs.
· Possess a current US Customs and Border Protection clearance.
· Be a U.S. citizen.

Pay: $121,817.68 - $156,490.11 per year
