Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to provide direct patient care, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing routine procedures, and assisting with activities of daily living.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the registered nurse or physician.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about their healthcare needs, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, following infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of [Insert State].
