Summary: Under the direction of the Lead Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician I completes preventative maintenance and repair of plant equipment to ensure uninterrupted day-to-day operations. Ensures that all work activities are conducted in a safe and orderly operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1. Performs repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance tasks for all processing equipment.
2. Performance diagnostic evaluation of equipment.
3. Responds to unplanned operational or maintenance events.
4. Reports to emergency call outs, troubleshoots programs and takes actions to ensure plant and system integrity.
5. Perform preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication, inspection, and adjustments.
6. Document and notify management in the event of any condition that may pose a risk to safety including physical, biological, or chemical hazards.
7. Follows all inventory and supply replacement part procedures.
8. Operates power driven machinery such as forklifts, boom trucks, or other similarly sized equipment.
9. Conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
10. Maintains good relations with fellow employees, informs supervisor and others of employee complaints and concerns in an expedient manner.
11. Effectively communicates with employees and supervisors.
12. Issues praise as appropriate.
13. Maintain a clean work area at all times.
14. Is a champion of safety programs within the RePower South organization. Leads by example by wearing all required PPE at all times.
15. Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $34,320.00 - $37,440.00 per year
