The Role:
This position provides direct administrative and clinical oversight of Mobile Response Unit, assigns and responds to calls from the hotline. Provides outreach, assessment, appropriate clinical dispositions to diffuse crisis situations. This position also provides administrative and clinical support to RVS transitional residence and Respite program during second shift.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for supporting the health and safety of clients and the community.
- Collaborate with local police, hospitals, shelters, families and other stakeholders to assess crisis situations.
- Provide education, training and supervision to the Mobile Crisis Clinicians.
- Assign work and prioritize multiple crisis calls to develop best response.
- Supports second shift operations of the Transitional Residential Program and Respite Program.

The goal of RVS is to provide the highest quality crisis intervention, case management, and residential and clinical services to adult citizens, 18 years of age and older, who suffer from serious mental disorders and who lack the financial means to secure such services in the private sector. RVS offers short term respite residential services, community support programs, a mobile crisis response team, jail diversion programs and various other supportive services.
