Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available - Collaborate with the surgical team to provide safe and effective patient care throughout the procedure - Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration and monitoring - Maintain sterile techniques during surgical procedures, including proper handling of instruments and supplies - Assist with patient positioning and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure - Administer medications as ordered by the physician and document all interventions accurately - Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients' recovery, managing pain, and addressing any complications that may arise - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong knowledge of family planning principles and practices - Proficiency in sterile processing techniques and maintaining a sterile environment - Ability to accurately assess and monitor patients' vital signs - Knowledge of alimentary system procedures, including gastrointestinal surgeries - Experience working in an ICU or ambulatory surgery center setting is preferred - Basic life support (BLS) certification is required; advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is a plus - Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques, including venipuncture, is highly desirable - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to providing exceptional patient care.
