About the Job:
This job is about supporting GE&S customers by providing outstanding customer service to our clients by developing effective customer service procedures, implementing customer loyalty programs, and setting customer satisfaction goals. You will also assist our outside sales professionals with quotes, research, and superior communications. Things You’ll Do (Just a Sampling):
- Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
- Listening to Customers’ needs to provide the right tool they didn’t know they needed.
- Research and source items to be purchased for our construction clients.
- Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
- Working with the outside sales group to gather information for and complete RFQs.
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
- Staying informed about competing products and services.
- Upselling products and services.
Things You Have to Have (No Fudging Allowed):
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Inside Sales within the equipment and tool sales and/or rental environment or comparable experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Valid Driver’s License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must be comfortable working onsite in an Industrial/Manufacturing/Fabricating Office Environment.
- Ability to Travel 25% of the time.
