Overview:
We’re seeking a Process Engineer to play a pivotal role in optimizing chemical production processes. Utilize your expertise in continuous improvement and quality standards to enhance production efficiency and ensure safety compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize chemical and polymer production processes to improve efficiency and meet quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in manufacturing.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support process investigations and improvements.
- Apply reaction chemistry knowledge to develop and refine production processes.
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and root cause analysis techniques to identify and address process issues.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Oversee batch processes and manage process equipment to maintain high operational standards.
- Develop and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve process non-conformances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in chemical process engineering and polymer production.
- Strong background in continuous improvement and quality standards implementation.
- Knowledge of reaction chemistry and its application in production processes.
- Proficiency in data collection, statistical analysis, and SPC techniques.
- Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Familiarity with GMP and SOPs in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
