We are currently seeking an Admissions Lead to join the Vista team!
In your role as Admissions Lead, you will assist with the development and execution of an admissions marketing plan inclusive of material creation, internal and external communications, facilitating trainings, and presenting to varying audiences.
Excellent presentation and written communication skills with an attention to detail are required for this position. Must be flexible in terms of scheduling, changing conditions and unexpected obstacles. Ability to identify problems and generate creative, alternative solutions. Ability to independently initiate and prioritize a high level of tasks as assigned. Ability to understand the importance of demonstrating empathy to diverse and complex individuals and situations.
The Admissions Lead will collaborate with programmatic leadership teams across the organization and lead and/or support families through an individualized admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. The candidate will also support, and may lead, ongoing admissions activities and events. Additional duties include monitoring and evaluating successful implementation and follow-through with systems and operations. Most importantly, the Admissions Lead develops and cultivates relationships with families, educational consultants, referral sources, and other community partners.

The Admissions Lead is based out of our Westbrook, CT campus and reports to the Admissions Manager.
This is a Full-Time, salaried position.
Education and Experience Requirements for an Admissions Lead: Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of related experience in admissions, recruitment, sales or human services. Knowledge of programmatic issues associated with disabilities and post-secondary programming preferred. Vista values the work experience of applicants and therefore, may waive the Bachelor level of the educational requirement of a position in lieu of a strong professional background in a related field.
Essential Requirements for an Admissions Lead include a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Salary: Up to $53,581.
